School and Licensed Child Care Facility Notification
Sex Offender Registration:
As a result of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006, states are required to provide public access to sex offender information through the internet to help protect children and communities. In Delaware, Title 11, Sections 4120 and 4121 of the Delaware code requires the Delaware State Police to maintain a registry of sex offenders available to the public via the internet. This registry is available to you through the State Bureau of Identification.
How to Access the Sex Offender Registry:
Online - Visit the Delaware Sex Offender Registry website at: https://sexoffender.dsp.delaware.gov

Utilize the “Neighborhood Search” tab on the registry website to search the area in question.
In Person – You may access information at your local State Police Troop or the State Bureau of Identification during normal business hours.

Community Notifications:
You can register to receive free email notifications when a registered sex offender moves into your community.
• Sign up online through the Sex Offender Registry website.
• Stay informed. Stay protected.
